Interactive Experiences and Local Retailers Open at Lee + White in Atlanta's West End

Two new, interactive experiences just opened their doors at Lee + White in Atlanta’s West End neighborhood. Guests can visit the BeltLine-adjacent, adaptive reuse, mixed-use community to enjoy a live, gameshow-inspired experience at Atlanta’s first The Game Show Challenge location. Atlanta Golf & Social, a public, indoor golf club, also recently celebrated the grand opening of its second location in April.

These openings come on the heels of three new retail concepts joining Lee + White’s container village: Afrentic, which features authentic African apparel and accessories; Bloom Box Collective, which specializes in customized flower arrangements; and Joyful Jarra, a “refillery” offering package-free cleaning and personal care goods. Lee + White established the container village in 2023 with five shipping container spaces and is now adding four additional spaces. The container village was created by co-owners MDH Partners and Ackerman & Co. to provide an affordable opportunity within the development for startups and small businesses to open brick-and-mortar locations to grow their brands

“These new tenants are the perfect additions to the Lee + White roster,” said Jeff Small, CEO of MDH Partners. “Lee + White is the ideal location for interactive, social concepts and small businesses that are looking for a space to grow their customer base and plant roots in the city of Atlanta. With proximity to the BeltLine and a diverse mix of existing tenants, Lee + White is a unique offering in the market that meets the needs of guests craving a dynamic, community-focused atmosphere.”

The Game Show Challenge is an immersive, interactive experience that puts guests at the center of the action—led by a real game show host. Created by husband-and-wife duo Josh and Patty Brickey, each 60-minute session is packed with high-energy challenges where teams compete for a chance to win real (and sometimes hilariously fake) prizes. Guests spin a towering seven-foot wheel, crack brain-bending word puzzles, guess the most popular survey answers, and test their luck in an all-or-nothing dice roll for the ultimate prize. The Atlanta location at Lee + White spans 3,389 square feet in Building 1000. The first Game Show Challenge opened in Columbia, SC in 2024, followed by Greenville, SC later that year and Charlotte, NC in May 2025.

“Since opening our first escape room nearly a decade ago to now opening our fourth Game Show Challenge location, we have enjoyed helping guests create magical moments,” said Josh Brickey, managing partner of Game Show Challenge. “Every experience at Game Show Challenge is unique and endlessly replayable, with games and challenges for everyone to enjoy. We are excited to continue our expansion and bring the interactive experience to Atlanta’s West End at our newest location.

Atlanta Golf & Social is a public, indoor golf club that combines Trackman simulator technology with a laid-back, casual bar vibe. In addition to the state-of-the-art, simulator golf bays, the community-oriented venue features a full restaurant and an elevated bar experience, which hosts F1 watch parties, MLS games and more. Atlanta Golf & Social offers an approachable way to golf and is available to everyone, regardless of skill level. It occupies 3,767 square feet in the food hall. This is Atlanta Golf & Social’s second location, with its first off Peachtree Road in Chamblee.

“Since opening our second Atlanta location here at Lee + White, we have been able to establish a welcoming, neighborhood space that is perfect for meeting friends for a night out or grabbing coffee with co-workers,” said Jeremy Williams, co-founder of Atlanta Golf & Social. “As Atlanta’s first and only locally owned indoor golf club with multiple locations, we are excited to bring the combination of state-of-the-art golfing and an elevated bar to the West End community. From memberships to lessons and leagues to just walking in and getting a bay, there is a way to golf at Atlanta Golf & Social that is right for everyone.”

President Leo Wiener and Senior Vice President Kelly Wilson of Ackerman Retail, a division of Ackerman & Co., completed the Game Show Challenge and Atlanta Golf & Social leases on behalf of Lee + White ownership, while Robert Satcher of Pintail CRE represented The Game Show Challenge. Joseph Howie of ICON Commercial represented Atlanta Golf & Social. Suzanne Shank and Patrick Green of Ackerman Retail facilitated the container village leases. The new signings bring the number of container retailers at Lee + White to seven, bolstering a lineup that also includes Coastal Green Wellness, Vine & Olive, Highfalutin Press and Westside Cigars.

“These are exciting offerings in our growing retail and entertainment mix,” said Leo Wiener, President of Ackerman Retail, a division of Ackerman & Co. “Atlanta Golf & Social and The Game Show Challenge not only bring fun, interactive activities to Lee + White, but also highlight the evolution of the property into a true mixed-use destination with a diverse blend of retailers, restaurants and service providers, along with high-tech businesses that have established headquarters and production operations at Lee + White.”

Acquired by MDH Partners and Ackerman & Co. in September 2019, Lee + White has become a popular destination for its breweries, restaurants and retailers. In the current phase of the redevelopment, the investment partners added a 19-vendor food hall with several stalls now open, more than 200,000 square feet of creative office space, new retail and the “Great Lawn,” a central gathering and event space. Providing BeltLine access via four direct entrances, Lee + White is located just 0.4 miles from the West End MARTA station and is convenient to all of metro Atlanta’s major interstates, I-20, I-75, I-85 and I-285.
