Investment Funds Partner Colby Jenkins Joins King & Spalding in Atlanta

King & Spalding announced today that Colby Jenkins has joined the firm as a partner in its Real Estate and Funds practice group. He is based in the firm’s Atlanta office.

Jenkins counsels clients on structuring, offering, and operating U.S. and offshore open-end, closed-end, and semi-liquid private investment funds and advises on related U.S. regulatory and compliance matters. He represents established and emerging fund sponsors and institutional, family office, and individual investors focused on a wide variety of investment sectors, ranging from traditional private equity investments to public market investments to investments in emerging alternative asset classes.

Jenkins joins King & Spalding from Alston & Bird, where he was a partner. He received his J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School, his M.B.A from Yale University, and his B.A. from Duke University.
