Friday, August 1st, 2025

The TOUR Championship, alongside its Proud Partners Accenture, Coca-Cola and Southern Company, today announced City of Hope Cancer Center Atlanta as the sponsor of the tournament’s Volunteer Headquarters, which serves as the hub of activity for more than 1,200 volunteers as they fuel up ahead of a big day or unwind and recap the sights and sounds around East Lake Golf Club.

All TOUR Championship volunteers will have access to Volunteer Headquarters presented by City of Hope Cancer Center Atlanta, where light breakfast, snacks and refreshments are available for every working day and volunteers can collect lunch vouchers to be used at on-course concession areas. Volunteer Headquarters serves as the dedicated area for volunteers to relax before their shifts.

“As one of the nation’s leading cancer research and advanced treatment organizations, City of Hope is committed to delivering the latest scientific breakthroughs with compassion and unwavering support for patients and families,” said Jonathan Watkins, President of City of Hope Cancer Center Atlanta. “Volunteers are the heartbeat of this mission – whether supporting patients in our hospitals or assisting with events out in our community. This is why we’re especially proud to sponsor the Volunteer Headquarters, honoring those who give their time and energy to make a difference.”

Additionally, the Shaded Bleacher presented by City of Hope Cancer Center Atlanta, located on the driving range, provides fans the perfect vantage point within a shaded, seated area to witness the PGA TOUR’s top 30 players warm-up ahead of their competition rounds. For more sun protection, spectators can stop by Sunscreen Kiosks throughout East Lake Golf Club courtesy of City of Hope Cancer Center Atlanta.

“Our volunteer force is what brings the TOUR Championship to life,” said Alex Urban, Executive Director of the TOUR Championship. “The support from City of Hope Cancer Center Atlanta is so impactful to ensure our volunteers have a memorable TOUR Championship experience, and for our fans to watch the PGA TOUR’s best 30 players under the comfort of shade and protected from the sun.”

TOUR Championship volunteers help organize, coordinate, and manage the event in various capacities which allows the tournament to donate back to the community. Since first being played at East Lake in 1998, the TOUR Championship has raised more than $63 million toward community impact funds.

One week remains until the TOUR’s top 70 players qualify for the FedExCup Playoffs and make the final push for the 2025 TOUR Championship. The top 30 players in the FedExCup standings are available here.
