Fulton County District 4 Commissioner Mo Ivory will represent Fulton County on a national level. The Commissioner has been appointed to the following 4 National Association of Counties (NACo) committees:

Arts and Culture Innovation Council
Healthy Counties Innovation Council
International Economic Development Innovation Council
Large Urban County Caucus

Commissioner Ivory received news of the recent appointments in August 2025. As a member of the NACo Arts and Culture Innovation Council, the Commissioner will work with other county leaders from around the country to promote the importance of the arts on every level. Commissioner Ivory’s work with the Healthy Counties Innovation Council will include assisting NACo in identifying the priorities and activities of the Council.

Additionally, the Commissioner’s work with the International Economic Development Innovation Council will involve working with leaders to exchange information and resources regarding fiscal development activities. As a member of the Large Urban County Caucus, Commissioner will serve with other urban county leaders and is the voice for America’s metropolitan counties before Congress and the Administration.

“I am excited to participate on the national levels with county leaders from around the country,” said Commissioner Ivory. “Bringing the voice of Fulton County to this national arena is an important function that will assist in not only continuing to tell our story but assist Board Members like myself in securing the knowledge and resources needed to help move us forward.”

Commissioner Ivory is a dedicated leader who has earned numerous accolades, including the Drum Major for Justice Benevolence Award from the SCLC Women Inc., the Power Player Award from the Black-Latino Council of America, and recognition as one of Atlanta Business League’s Top 100 Black Women of Influence. Mo has also hosted countless community and corporate events for organizations like The Coca-Cola Company, Delta Air Lines, and UNCF. The Commissioner holds a degree in Political Science from Spelman College and a law degree from Temple University School of Law.
