Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Thursday, August 21st, 2025

Fox Gives, the philanthropic arm of the historic Fox Theatre, has announced the participating schools for its 2025-26 All-Access Pass program. The year-long educational initiative introduces high school students to vocational careers in the arts and entertainment industries.

This year's program will include new schools: Dalton High School, Pebblebrook High School, and Putnam County High School. Hart County High School will also be returning as part of a multi-year preservation grant. The All-Access Pass program, now in its second year, is expanding its reach to provide Title I students with a look at careers that are often overlooked in the world of live entertainment.

The program gives teens a firsthand look at essential backstage careers, from lighting and sound to stage and venue management. Participants will attend Regions Bank Broadway in Atlanta performances at the Fox Theatre, take part in discussions, and engage in workshops, backstage tours, and career mentorship.

Leigh Burns, director of community partnerships at the Fox Theatre, said the All-Access Pass "shines a light on the multitude of diverse entertainment careers that help bring stories and stages to life," and "helps students recognize their potential in spaces they never imagined for themselves."

As part of the experience, students will participate in a Fox Gives Shadowing Day. Through guided rotations, students will explore different departments at the Fox Theatre, including ticketing, programming, restoration, event services, and marketing.

Fox Gives selects schools for the program through a competitive application process open to public, Title I high schools within a 150-mile radius of the Fox Theatre. The initiative is part of the theater's broader commitment to educational equity and arts access, which also includes the award-winning Fox in a Box curriculum. To date, Fox in a Box has reached over 68,000 students and educators. These efforts, along with over $4.2 million in preservation grants, aim to inspire the next generation of arts professionals and theatergoers.
