The Entrepreneurship & Innovation Institute (ENI) at Georgia State University is proud to announce the launch of Cohort 5 of the Main Street Entrepreneurs Seed Fund, set to run during Summer 2025. After a highly competitive selection process, 30 ventures have been selected from a record-breaking pool of over 300 applicants to participate in this award-winning accelerator program. These teams represent the next generation of founders who will bring innovation, equity, and economic mobility to the forefront of Georgia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The Main Street Entrepreneurs Seed Fund is designed to propel early-stage entrepreneurs forward by providing them with seed funding, dedicated coaching, intensive workshops, expert mentorship, access to legal services, and technology resources valued at over $50,000 per team.

This year’s program is funded in part by Truist Foundation, whose support enables Georgia State to expand access to capital, training, and opportunity for founders.

“This summer marks a new milestone in our mission to support scalable ventures from across Georgia,” said Joyelle Harris, Director of ENI. “Cohort 5 represents our largest, most competitive and dynamic group to date, and we’re thrilled to provide them with the resources and network they need to thrive.”

Each team has been matched with a dedicated mentorship team and a board of directors composed of faculty, alumni, and industry professionals, providing strategic guidance and accountability throughout the program. This year, more than 180 members of the Atlanta and the broader United States’s entrepreneurship ecosystem have volunteered their time and expertise to serve as board members and mentors for participating ventures.

The Main Street Entrepreneurs Seed Fund is part of Georgia State’s broader commitment to innovation, access, and economic mobility—leveraging its position as a national leader in undergraduate teaching and urban research. Since its launch in 2019, Main Street has empowered 86 founders representing 61 companies and has awarded more than $600,000 in non-dilutive funding.
