Northern China Eatery, one of Atlanta’s most beloved culinary destinations, is opening a highly anticipated second location on August 21 along the Krog Beltline at The Shoppes at Citizen.

Known for its authentic Northern Chinese flavors and handmade dumplings, NCE has earned a loyal following across the city and beyond. The late Anthony Bourdain featured the restaurant on his show The Layover, calling it a “veritable stairway to heaven.”

The new outpost will offer a curated version of the original menu featuring fan favorites, including signature handmade dumplings and buns, as well as rice, noodle, and stir-fry dishes. The Krog location also boasts a full-service bar serving inventive cocktails.

Owner Fan Zhang says opening a new location along the Krog Beltline was the obvious next step. He calls the area core to the city, likening it to “Atlanta’s Central Park.”

terra alma’s Michaela Boone says Northern China Eatery’s ever-growing popularity will ensure its new location’s success.

“So many of my clients and friends hail NCE as their favorite restaurant. I’m thrilled that more Atlantans will have easy access to this powerhouse eatery,” Boone said

Zhang has worked closely with Michaela and the terra alma team for years, saying “I hope to continue this partnership well into the future.
