Sterling Seacrest Pritchard, one of the nation’s top 100 commercial insurance brokers, has announced the hire of Client Advisor Joey Monahan. Joey will be based in the company’s Atlanta office where he will concentrate on Employee Benefits.

With over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Joey has previously held positions on both the broker and carrier side. Joey’s focus is pharmacy, alternative funding mechanisms, wellness, and HR support. 

Joey graduated with a degree in Business Management from Liberty University. During his time in college, he was on the NCAA Division I Baseball Team and was selected as an All-American and 2-time All-Conference player. Joey spent the first part of his career playing professional baseball for the Chicago Cubs. 

Joey is one of the founders of the Jason Cunningham Charitable Foundation, an organization that assists children with hearing loss and has helped over 600 children receive hearing aids. In addition, he coaches both youth baseball and basketball and is an active member of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church.
