Bradley has added former federal prosecutor Alexis D. Gregorian as a partner in the Atlanta office and a member of the Government Enforcement & Investigations Practice Group, continuing the firm’s growth in Georgia. Ms. Gregorian was previously counsel to the chief for the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Criminal Division, Fraud Section in the Health Care Fraud Unit.
“Alexis’s distinguished prosecution background and her experience handling complex fraud, healthcare, and other investigations align directly with the needs of our clients across multiple industries. We see increased demand for enforcement and investigations counsel, particularly in the healthcare sector,” said Bradley Atlanta Office Managing Partner Deborah Cazan. “We are confident that her reputation and experience will be a tremendous benefit to our clients as we further strengthen our enforcement and healthcare presence in Atlanta.”
Ty Howard, chair of the firm’s Government Enforcement & Investigation’s Practice Group, noted, “Healthcare and other highly regulated industries continue to be a focus of government enforcement. Alexis brings a strong prosecutorial background and first-hand experience leading large investigations, which will be an asset to our clients in Atlanta and across the country. We’re thrilled to add her to Bradley’s Government Enforcement and Investigations team and the Atlanta office.”
The expansion of Bradley’s Atlanta office has included a number of key hires across practice areas, adding particular depth in healthcare with the recent arrival of lateral partners Tara Ravi, Michele Madison and George Reinhardt. At the same time, Bradley has continued to expand its government enforcement team by adding Elizabeth Greene and Gavin Bell in Charlotte and Sarah Wirskye and Bethanie Livernois in Dallas, positioning the firm as a resource for wide-ranging enforcement and healthcare fraud matters nationwide.
Ms. Gregorian concentrates her practice on representing companies and individuals in government investigations, conducting internal investigations, and handling related compliance and litigation matters. While serving as counsel to the chief and assistant deputy chief at the DOJ, she personally handled and oversaw numerous white-collar investigations and prosecutions, including complex healthcare fraud cases involving Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance fraud; the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act; and pharmaceutical drug-related crimes. She has tried several complex federal jury trials across multiple jurisdictions and has additional experience providing advice regarding compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
Ms. Gregorian earned her J.D. and B.A. from the University of Virginia and served as a clerk to the Hon. J. Frederick Motz of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland after graduating from law school.
Since opening in May 2023, Bradley’s Atlanta office has tripled in size and now has 70 attorneys who represent clients nationally and across the Southeast in a wide range of industries, including real estate, healthcare, litigation, construction, banking and financial services, corporate M&A, securities, government enforcement, labor and employment, IP, and franchise.
