Hartsfield-Jackson Announces Overnight Plane Train Service Adjustments

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) will temporarily adjust Plane Train operations during overnight hours on two upcoming dates to support ongoing system improvements. Passengers traveling late at night are encouraged to plan accordingly and allow extra time for connections. Here are the changes:
Wednesday, Sept. 24, into Thursday, Sept. 25
11:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.
- The Plane Train will operate in shuttle mode with longer wait times.
- One shuttle will run between Concourses E and F.
- One shuttle will run between Concourse E and Concourse T (all passengers will disembark at Concourse T).
- The Domestic Baggage Claim Station will be closed.
12:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.
- Plane Train service between Concourses E and F will be suspended. A single shuttle will operate between Concourse E and Concourse T.
2:00 a.m. – 4:00 a.m.
- The Plane Train system will shut down completely. No train service will be available.
Thursday, Sept. 25, into Friday, Sept. 26
11:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.
- The Plane Train will operate in shuttle mode with longer wait times.
- One shuttle will run between Concourses E and F.
- One shuttle will run between Concourse E and Concourse T (all passengers will disembark at Concourse T).
- The Domestic Baggage Claim Station will be closed.
2:00 a.m. – 4:00 a.m.
The Plane Train system will shut down completely. No train service will be available.
During these times, passengers should allow additional travel time between concourses and follow directional signage for alternative transportation options. Airport staff will be on hand to assist travelers.
