Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), an Atlanta-based third-party hotel operator and investor, today announced the company has appointed Drew Slayton vice president of business development. In his new role, Slayton will be responsible for identifying and solidifying new growth opportunities for HVMG’s national portfolio.

"Drew's contributions as we continue to expand our hospitality portfolio and deliver exceptional value to our partners and clients will be invaluable," said Mike "Woody" Woodward, executive vice president and chief growth officer, HVMG. "Throughout his career, Drew has demonstrated a proven ability to drive strategic growth and deliver comprehensive financial insights that shape critical investment decisions."

With more than a decade of hospitality experience, Slayton most recently served as director of business development and investment analysis at Crescent Hotels and Resorts, where he helped secure third-party management agreements and crafted impactful proposals for hotel owners and investors. Prior to that, at HotelAVE, he advised clients on acquisitions and asset management, including oversight of the KSL Mission Hill portfolio, which included the Element Atlanta Buckhead and Tru by Hilton Atlanta Ballpark—both then operated by HVMG. Earlier in his career with IHG, he served as manager of strategic market planning and feasibility (Americas Development), conducting market analysis and feasibility studies across the Americas. Slayton holds an MBA in Finance from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University.

"Having collaborated with HVMG in my role as an asset manager, I know the caliber of this team and look forward to contributing to its next phase of growth," Slayton said.
