Isakson Living has appointed long-time Atlanta hospitality industry veteran Brad Koeneman as vice president club services for the developer and operator of the Southeast’s premier life plan communities. Reporting to Isakson Living founder and managing partner Andy Isakson, Koeneman will oversee all Isakson Living independent living communities with a focus on member-facing and operational functions, including strategic planning, member experience, facility management, and financial health.

“Isakson Living communities are renowned for the resort-style living and the vibrant, active lifestyle enjoyed by our Members,” stated Isakson. “As vice president of club services, Brad will apply the expertise he has built managing luxury hotels and restaurants to better support our onsite leadership teams in order to further enhance the culinary services, recreational activities and premium amenities across our communities, ensuring an exceptional standard of living for our Members.”

Throughout his 35-year career, Koeneman has established a reputation for building successful, people-focused organizations in the luxury hospitality sector. Most recently, he served as general manager of Hilton Atlanta for nearly 20 years. Under his leadership, service scores rose by 48%, team member engagement improved, turnover decreased to under 20%, and the property was named “Hotel of the Year” three times. His career spans three decades, with experience managing flagship hotels, four-diamond restaurants, country clubs, and a historic inn.

“Isakson Living’s belief that seniors could thrive at every age and every stage, and that retirement communities should support both individuals and families through life’s transitions, resonates deeply with me,” said Koeneman. “My goal has always been to foster workplaces where team members are fulfilled, which in turn creates exceptional guest experiences, all while contributing positively to the Atlanta community. After meeting Andy and Kevin Isakson, I felt an immediate alignment with their vision and values.”

Koeneman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and psychology from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla. A recognized leader in the hospitality industry, he previously served as chairman and currently sits on the executive board of the Georgia Hotel and Lodging Association. He also serves on the executive board of the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau and is a board member of the Atlanta Sports Council Central and Atlanta Progress.
