Midtown Atlanta Welcomes the Peacherie and Brasserie Lundi September 10

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Monday, September 8th, 2025

A bold new dining destination is arriving in Midtown this September. Hospitality HQ, a Brooklyn-based hospitality management group co-founded by Chef Akhtar Nawab, will debut The Peacherie and Brasserie Lundi inside the lobby of 1375 Peachtree, a newly revitalized office and community hub owned by FullG CRE Investments.

Spanning 7,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, The Peacherie and Brasserie Lundi will introduce a thoughtfully connected culinary collective to Midtown, where modern design and all-day hospitality converge. Far from a traditional food hall, The Peacherie is rooted in a shared ethos of quality and craft, offering a layered experience that transitions effortlessly from afternoon working lunches and evening aperitifs.

A Kentucky native of Indian heritage, Chef Akhtar Nawab honed his craft in the celebrated kitchens of Gramercy Tavern, Craftbar, and Craft. He went on to open his own restaurant, Elettaria, and later led the kitchens of acclaimed restaurants like La Esquina (NYC) and Alta Calidad (Brooklyn), which was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand honors in 2018, 2019, 2023 and 2024.

In 2019, Nawab co-founded Hospitality HQ (HHQ) to share his hospitality philosophy with a larger audience. Now one of the fastest-growing chef-led food hall operators in the U.S., HHQ oversees culinary concepts from Orlando to Los Angeles, all built around Nawab’s belief that food should be thoughtful, communal and crafted with purpose.

“The Peacherie and Brasserie Lundi were created with connection in mind,” says Nawab. “Whether it’s a casual outing or special celebration, our goal is to foster a sense of community through food that’s meant to be savored together.”

The Peacherie will initially feature two chef-led food and beverage vendors, Discourse Eatery and Ninja Way Express, each chosen for their creativity, cultural authenticity and community connection.

Discourse Eatery is the first original concept from Shawn Miles Davies, who will serve as Chef, Owner and Operator, in partnership with Jordan Bynum, Co-Owner and Operator. Designed to bring dialogue back to the table, the eatery pairs a comforting, approachable menu with conversation starter cards given to every guest. Signature offerings include Fried Green Tomatoes with Cherry Tomato Jam, Pimento Cheese Dip and Smoked Honey Chicken, alongside refreshing smoothies and additional seasonal favorites.

Chef Jack Bai, the culinary mind behind the beloved Gekko Kitchen, is set to unveil his latest venture: Ninja Way Express, a fresh and vibrant sushi and hibachi concept. Guests can look forward to an enticing menu featuring signature offerings such as the flavorful Hibachi Chicken Bowl, the savory Shrimp Bowl, and a colorful selection of poke, all crafted with Chef Bai’s signature flair for bold flavors and high-quality ingredients.

The third food vendor will be announced later this fall.  Reflecting the food hall’s vision as a showcase for emerging chefs and innovative concepts, the space features rotating talent and fresh offerings designed to keep patrons continually discovering something new.

Anchoring the experience is Brasserie Lundi, a 3,400-square-foot full-service restaurant and bar from Nawab. With seating for 130, Brasserie Lundi channels the relaxed elegance of a modern French brasserie while weaving in Nawab’s signature hospitality style and Southern-accented sourcing.

The menu at Brasserie Lundi offers a fresh, approachable take on classic French brasserie fare, layered with Southern influences and seasonal ingredients. Guests will find everything from oysters on the half shell with pink peppercorn mignonette to foie gras torchon with stone fruit preserves and brioche, and steak tartare with quail egg and toasted sourdough. Entrées range from comforting favorites like poulet rôti with bacon and mushrooms to elegant plates like poached halibut with charred leeks and smoked trout caviar. House-made Parisienne gnocchi with basil pistou and zucchini and other thoughtfully prepared vegetarian options ensure there’s something for every palate. The dessert menu leans delightfully indulgent, as peach tart tatin with bourbon caramel and crème brûlée served with a brown butter madeleine grace the menu. Rounding out the experience is a beverage program centered on aperitifs, French-leaning cocktails, and a curated selection of Old World wines.

Designed by New Orleans-based Bell Butler Studio, The Peacherie space is intentionally communal rather than transactional, encouraging guests to gather, connect and unwind, while Brasserie Lundi’s design is rooted in a thoughtful blend of local artistry, French inspiration and mid-century architectural elements. Atlanta-based artist Michelle Armas brings a sense of spirit to both the restaurant and food hall with hand-painted works in watercolor and alcohol ink, while fellow local Fate Bell contributes rock-inspired abstractions that echo the antique mirrors and rich textures of the bar. New Orleans artist Logan Ledford ties into the brand’s identity through color theory–driven compositions, and works by French artist Roman Boudabilac, whose linework reflects the concept’s European roots, are featured indoors and through furnishings on the building’s exterior. A warm, neutral palette and custom pieces by Atlanta’s Bjork Studio lend the food hall an inviting, layered feel, allowing vendor brands to shine individually within the textured environment.

Guests will have direct access from the 1375 Peachtree parking deck, with validation available. Valet service will be offered for special events and group dining. The space will also include open seating, high-speed Wi-Fi, and design-forward communal areas tailored to business professionals and weekend visitors.

Built in 1960 and positioned on the edge of historic Ansley Park, 1375 Peachtree is a 400,000-square-foot, seven-story office property in Midtown that has been reimagined as a creative, Class A workplace. Recent renovations feature a striking modern façade, a rooftop tenant deck, a state-of-the-art fitness center with lockers and showers, and a fully equipped bike storage facility. Beginning this fall, The Peacherie will introduce a series of scheduled activations for both tenants and the surrounding community, further enhancing the building’s dynamic environment.

The Peacherie will be open daily from 11 AM to 9 PM. Brasserie Lundi will initially open for dinner service only, Monday through Sunday from 5 PM to 10 PM. Beginning September 25, Brasserie Lundi will expand its hours to include breakfast service, opening daily from 8 AM to 10 PM.
