Overstory Rooftop & Bar is delighted to debut its refined Afternoon Tea service beginning Friday, September 19. Hosted on the stunning outdoor patio overlooking the Gas South District, the experience invites patrons to indulge in a thoughtfully curated blend of flavor and luxury, available every Friday and Saturday from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Guests are invited to savor an elevated afternoon tea experience featuring J’Enwey Tea Co., a distinguished seven-star concierge tea company. The Afternoon Tea service offers a thoughtfully curated selection of blends exclusive to the property, from the robust Southern English Breakfast, a smooth blend of Chinese black teas with notes of molasses and malt, to the refreshing Blue Bell Grey, a playful twist on Earl Grey infused with Calabrian bergamot and Provencal lavender. Each pour is designed to delight both seasoned tea enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike.

To complement the premium tea offerings, a selection of refined bites and pastries enhances the experience. Freshly baked scones, served with clotted cream, local jams, and golden honeycomb, set a classic foundation. Savory highlights include the Southern Spice, a vibrant take on egg salad layered on jalapeño cheddar bread with Dijon cream cheese, and Caviar & Citrus, an elegant pairing of smoked salmon, citrus-herbed cream cheese, and salmon roe. Each dish reflects Overstory’s thoughtful approach to flavor and its dedication to elevating the art of tea pairing.

The experience concludes on a sweet note with Parisian-inspired confections, including delicate petit éclairs and an array of colorful macarons, bringing just the right touch of indulgence to an unforgettable afternoon.

The Skyline Soirée – $65 per guest

Includes a full tea service accompanied by refreshing non-alcoholic bubbles.

Cloudline Experience – $75 per guest

Includes a full tea service paired with champagne.

Overstory Prestige – $115 per guest

Includes a full tea service, elevated with caviar and champagne.

Guests looking to further elevate their tea can choose to add on the Royal Caviar Experience for an extra $45. Live music and discounted valet parking will also be available for all Afternoon Tea attendees. 

Reservations are exclusively available via OpenTable. Overstory Rooftop Bar is open to guests aged 21 and above and the team kindly asks patrons to observe the dress code of upscale casual (flip-flops and sheer attire not permitted).
