Choate Construction unites AEC Industry for a Record-breaking Day in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Choate Construction's 16th annual Cars & Q for the Cause raised a record-breaking $752,416 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Ga Chapter on Saturday, Oct. 25.

An enthused group gathered in the expansive parking lot of Choate Construction’s headquarters in Sandy Springs for the long-standing car show, which has collectively raised more than $5.25 million for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

More than 120 cars filled the show, accompanied by plates of Jim ‘n Nicks BBQ, local craft brews, live music from The Rogue Tones, a lively auction, and family-friendly activities.

“Cars & ‘Q for the Cause has grown significantly in its 16-year history,” said Brian Bollins, Vice President & Division Manager for Choate Construction. “What began as a small gathering of friends united by a passion for cars and a mission to cure cystic fibrosis has blossomed into an event of record numbers, raising millions to support extraordinary medical and scientific progress."

Bollins expressed heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering years of support from industry partners, friends, and family, as well as the dedication of its employee-owners who helped surpass the fundraising goal.

In attendance was Hunter Moore, the first-ever employee-owner to have a child diagnosed with CF. Hunter along with his son Warren and wife Bela, served as this year's 2025 ambassadors, making the mission deeply personal for Choate's employee-owners.

The winners of the People’s Choice winners was a 1957 Ford Thunderbird, owned by Jim Choate.

The Kid’s Choice winner was a 2016 McLaren 570S, owned by Charlie Peccio.
