The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) public art program, Artbound, presents See Our Voice, a community-led photo exhibition opening Saturday, Nov. 1, from noon to 2 p.m. at Oakland City Station.

The exhibition features images and narratives created by residents from Southwest Atlanta neighborhoods (zip codes 30310 and 30314) who documented the strengths, challenges, and aspirations of their communities using disposable cameras and cell phones.

Curated and facilitated by Atlanta-based artist and social practitioner Krystle Chanel Terry, the project used Photovoice methodology to guide participants through workshops on storytelling, photography, and reflection.

“See Our Voice was a dream project for me. Seeing it come together reminded me why social impact work is so important. The connectivity and vibrancy of the Southwest Atlanta communities I worked with are unmatched,” said Terry.
