The Providence Group Wins Multiple OBIE Awards, Including Community of the Year for Sawnee Village and Knollwood

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA) hosted its annual OBIE Awards last week, honoring the best in new home construction, remodeling, sales and marketing across the region. The Providence Group, one of Atlanta’s premier homebuilders, known for its “Lifestyle, Location and Luxury” brand promise, celebrated an exceptional evening of recognition earning multiple OBIE Awards, including two Gold OBIEs for Community of the Year. Their signature Sawnee Village community in Cumming won in the Mixed Use category and Knollwood in Johns Creek took the award for communities of 20 units or less.

  • Single Family Zero Lot Line All Builders ($500,000+): Promenade at Sawnee Village – Hickory Plan – Elegant architecture and thoughtful open living spaces earned this design top honors.
  • Best Building Design – Attached Model ($500,000–$599,999): Millcroft – Stockton Model – Noted for its smart use of space, abundant light, large kitchen and seamless indoor-outdoor connection.
  • Best Building Design – Attached Model ($600,000–$699,999): Ward’s Crossing – Jacobsen II Model – A showcase of refined finishes and high-end design in a low-maintenance lifestyle community.
 
 
  • Best Building Design – Attached Model ($700,000+): Towns on Thompson – Chaucer Model (TRIFECTA designed home) – Collaborated with high-end furniture store TRIFECTA Home Furniture to professionally decorate their newest model home located in Alpharetta.  This joint venture aims to showcase high-end finishes and furniture from TRIFECTA to help appeal to potential buyers by showing a visual representation of the desired lifestyle associated with the three-story luxury townhomes.
  • Single Family Attached ($800,000+): Towns on Thompson – Chamberlain Plan – Recognized for craftsmanship and elevated details befitting a luxury in-town Alpharetta residence.
