TekStream, a digital resilience company that helps organizations modernize, secure, and strengthen their digital environments, announced today the appointment of Mike Cote to its Board of Directors. Cote brings a rich background in cybersecurity and managed services-based organizations.

“We’re excited to welcome Mike to TekStream’s Board of Directors,” said Rob Jansen, CEO of TekStream. “His extensive background in cybersecurity and managed services brings tremendous value as we continue to streamline our operations and expand our partner network. Mike’s expertise will be integral in guiding our next phase of growth and innovation.”

Cote is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Secureworks, where he led the company through its acquisition by Dell, its continued growth, and its IPO, establishing it as one of the most recognized and leading security companies worldwide. Prior to joining Secureworks, Mike held executive roles at Talus Solutions, a pricing and revenue management software firm, and MSI Solutions, a web application development and systems integration company, along with international assignments at KPMG early in his career.

“I look forward to working with my fellow board members and the executive leadership team at TekStream during such an exciting time for the company,” says Cote. “As an industry leader, TekStream is well-positioned to continue expanding its reach to deliver even greater value to clients across various sectors, both private and public. I look forward to contributing to their ongoing growth and success.

Cote connected with TekStream through his role as an advisor to ASH Investment Partners (ASH IP), which invested in TekStream earlier this year. As ASH IP’s third platform investment, the collaboration will empower TekStream to scale its capabilities and meet increasing demand for high-impact, customized technology solutions.

Cote holds board positions at several organizations, including Abacus Group, ImagineX, Haverty’s, and Palmetto Technology Group. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and computer science.
