Financial Leader Bill Deiters Appointed to InCommunity Board of Directors

InCommunity, a leading Atlanta-based nonprofit dedicated for more than 46 years to serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, announced the appointment of Bill Deiters to its Board of Directors.

Deiters brings more than two decades of senior financial leadership experience across Fortune 500 companies and nonprofit organizations. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of the Georgia State Golf Association (GSGA), the governing body of golf in Georgia, overseeing its financial operations, human resources, and risk management functions.

Before entering the nonprofit sector, Deiters built a distinguished corporate career. He began at Deloitte & Touche as a consultant supporting clients across the financial services and telecommunications industries. He then spent 15 years at AT&T in progressive finance and strategic planning leadership roles within broadband and mobile technology teams. In 2013, he joined The Weather Channel/The Weather Company, where he served as Vice President of Digital Finance and played a key role in the company’s transition from private equity ownership through its sale and integration into IBM.

Deiters holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Georgia Tech and an MBA in Corporate Finance from Georgia State University. He resides in Sandy Springs with his wife and children.
