Friday, December 19th, 2025
The Georgia Chapter of the National MS Society is ending 2025 on a high note while making a renewed commitment to the organization’s mission to find a cure for MS while empowering people affected by multiple sclerosis to live their best lives. The society’s fall signature event, Taste of Generosity: Bourbon + Botanicals, beat its budgeted goal by 124% and grew by 15% since its debut in 2024, while the current chapter board grew their contributions, bringing in nearly 500k through committed give/gets. Following a recent chapter board retreat, the society is announcing new additions to the Board of Trustees.
The GA Chapter of the MS Society is pleased to welcome the following six newly appointed members bringing the 2026 board to a total of 25 members:
Andrea Medford – Director of Human Resources at The Mount Vernon School in Atlanta
Collier Williams – Strategic Partnerships at Becklar
Dan Kolbenschlag – Senior Manager at Grant Thornton, LLP
Dr. Grace Gombolay – Associate Professor at Emory University, Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Neurology Residency Program, and Director of the Pediatric Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis Clinic at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Jenny Agel – Senior Consultant with CGI
Jon Murphy – Founder and President of Redwood Commercial LLC
“These new trustees bring energy and passion to our board, fueled by their connections to MS and their desire to find a cure and end MS forever,” said Sue Gibbs, Board Chair of the MS Society Georgia Chapter. “The Georgia chapter of the National MS Society has continued to deliver the goals for the Society, and this group will help us accelerate our momentum as we continue to build MS awareness by bringing others into the MS movement.”
The Board of Trustees plays a critical role in shaping the Society’s vision and mission. The addition of these accomplished trustees strengthens the board and positions the chapter for continued growth. Their connection to MS and the insights they bring will be invaluable as everyone works to ensure the Society achieves its mission and fulfills the strategic plan.
The newly appointed members recently began their one-year term and joined an engaged and committed group of leaders dedicated to community-driven support for the Society, building MS awareness, expanding financial resources, and bringing others into the MS movement.
“I’m proud to welcome this exceptional group of leaders to our Georgia Board of Trustees. Their expertise, integrity, and genuine commitment to improving the lives of people affected by MS will be a powerful driver of progress. I’m grateful for their partnership as we continue expanding our impact across Georgia,” added Rachael Fenich, President of the MS Society Georgia Chapter.
