Kennesaw State University President Kathy S. Schwaig has appointed Lesley Netter-Snowden as executive vice president and chief business officer (EVP/CBO) effective immediately, following a national search.

Netter-Snowden, who joined Kennesaw State in 2017 as chief institutional auditor, has held several leadership roles, including vice president of business services and assistant vice president of campus services. In May 2025, she was named interim EVP/CBO, providing strategic direction and operational leadership for Kennesaw State’s administrative and financial functions, including auxiliary services, human resources, campus operations, and finance. In her permanent role, she will continue to lead these areas and will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, developing growth strategies, overseeing financial planning, managing facilities, and supporting the president in strategic analysis and decision-making as a member of the Cabinet.

"I have had the privilege of working with Dr. Netter-Snowden in her various roles at the University, most recently as our interim executive vice president and chief business officer. During this time, she has consistently and expertly demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and dedication to Kennesaw State and our students,” said President Schwaig.  “I am confident that she is the right person to help propel KSU forward, and I am thrilled to officially welcome her to this important role."

Before joining Kennesaw State, Netter-Snowden spent 13 years with EY, serving in several roles in the company’s assurance services and professional practice teams.

“I am grateful for the trust placed in me and remain committed to responsible stewardship, strengthening operations through collaboration, and driving strategic progress that supports Kennesaw State University’s pursuit of national prominence,” said Netter-Snowden.

Netter-Snowden holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education Management from the University of Georgia, as well as a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University. She is a certified public accountant, a 2022 University System of Georgia Executive Leadership Institute Scholar, and a member of the Leadership Georgia Class of 2024.
