Ronald McDonald House Atlanta today announced the opening of its 126,000-square-foot House adjacent to the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta’s Arthur M. Blank Hospital, the Southeast’s first Ronald McDonald House to be co-located on a hospital campus. The 110-room location expands Ronald McDonald House Atlanta’s capacity by 75%, enabling the organization to address the urgent need for Ronald McDonald House Atlanta’s services.

Since 2022, Ronald McDonald House Atlanta has experienced a 69% increase in family stays. In 2024, the organization served more than 3,600 families, saving them nearly $10 million in lodging, transportation, and food costs—a more than 17% gain from 2023—and provided nearly 27,000 nights of rest, an increase of more than 1,600 nights compared to 2023. The new House supports this growing number of families and expands access to life-saving medical treatment for sick and injured children.

Key amenities include 18 dedicated transplant suites, multiple dining areas, a private dining room in partnership with the Marcus Autism Center, a five-story indoor playscape, a community gathering floor, an interactive discovery garden and more.
