AT&T* expands its 5G and fiber internet networks in Lawrenceville, providing residents, businesses, and visitors with enhanced connectivity. With the addition of a new cell site and expanded AT&T Fiber locations, coverage and capacity throughout the area have been improved.

The new site in Lawrenceville boosts coverage along New Hope Road and Callie Still Road and also serves Archer High School.

AT&T Fiber is available to more than 8,700 residential and business locations in Lawrenceville, delivering internet speeds up to 5 Gigs¹. Residents can check fiber availability at their address by visiting att.com/notifyme.

“Reliable, high-speed internet is essential to Lawrenceville’s growth and quality of life. It fuels innovation, supports education, and enhances daily life for our residents. AT&T’s announced investment in a new cell site and expanded fiber availability supports the modern connectivity our community relies on,” said Mayor David Still, City of Lawrenceville.  “The City values infrastructure investments that expand access and strengthen connectivity for Lawrenceville residents and businesses.”

From 2020 to 2024, AT&T invested nearly $16.9 billion in its wireless and wireline networks in Georgia. These investments boost reliability, coverage, speed and overall performance for residents and their businesses.

AT&T 5G now reaches more than 315 million people in over 26,900 cities and towns nationwide, including Lawrenceville. This helps residents and businesses experience fast, reliable, and secure connections wherever they live, work, or play.

These enhancements also bring Band 14 spectrum to the area. Band 14 is nationwide, high-quality spectrum set aside by the government specifically for FirstNet® - the only nationwide communications network created with and for public safety. In an emergency, this band – or lane – can be cleared and locked exclusively for FirstNet subscribers. When not in use by FirstNet subscribers, AT&T customers can enjoy Band 14’s added coverage and capacity.

“At AT&T, we know how important it is for our customers to stay connected. We are proud to invest in Lawrenceville with the fiber and wireless infrastructure necessary to connect in today’s digital world,” said Brandon Hartley, Director of External Affairs, AT&T Georgia. “With expanded access to AT&T Fiber and 5G, our customers will be able to experience better network connectivity that will help with virtual learning, business growth and connecting with one another.”

AT&T is the nation’s largest fiber internet provider². With speeds up to 5 Gigs and robust network reliability, AT&T Fiber supports everything from remote work and online learning to telehealth and pro-level gaming—all on multiple devices simultaneously.
