Westside Paper Mixes It Up With New MidCity Cocktail Concept
Thursday, December 18th, 2025
Westside Paper, the 15-acre adaptive reuse development in West Midtown, continues its strong leasing activity and tenant traffic as new hospitality, wellness and recreation concepts open on the property, reinforcing its position as one of Atlanta’s most active mixed-use environments.
The project will be the future home of a new concept from MidCity, one of Atlanta’s most recognized cocktail destinations (recently featured in The New York Times). The venue, to be named Omma, will expand the current cocktail and small plates offered at MidCity by introducing a full internationally inspired food program built on clean flavors, thoughtful ingredients and a contemporary approach to dining.
In addition, Omma will take MidCity’s acclaimed cocktail program to new heights through innovative techniques, elevated presentations and a continued commitment to refinement and excellence. Omma will also embrace a distinctive musical program and identity, using intentional curation and the belief that sound shapes space.
Westside Paper also recently hosted the U.S. Open for padel, one of the fastest growing sports in the country. It was held at the 24,500-square-foot Padel Haus, the Brooklyn-based padel club.
And Carbon Performance drew more than 750 attendees to its grand opening, which included a two-mile community run on the Atlanta BeltLine Connector Spur Trail adjacent to the property. The fitness concept is operating its first location outside Tennessee and is experiencing strong engagement.
Since repositioning its ground-floor space to retail and experiential tenants last year, Westside Paper has secured more than 113,000 square feet of new leases in 2024. Recent additions include a 50,000-square-foot flagship showroom by Construction Resources and a 13,000-square-foot event venue operated by Proof of the Pudding, Atlanta’s largest catering company.
Developed by FCP and Westbridge, Westside Paper is a former 70-year-old paper plant reimagined as a large-scale mixed-use destination located at 950 West Marietta Street. The project features exposed brick, large industrial windows, collaborative common areas and tenant-exclusive outdoor meeting space. The development offers up to 125,000 square feet of office space, proximity to Georgia Tech and connectivity to the Atlanta BeltLine, making it a strategic location for employers seeking an innovative workplace environment
It sits in the center of West Midtown with direct access to dining, retail, art and entertainment, as well as more than 5,000 acres of surrounding parks and trails. The property is eight minutes from Interstate 75 and ten minutes from Midtown and Downtown. Back-route access also provides convenient connectivity to Buckhead.
Office leasing activity in Atlanta continues to strengthen, and Westside Paper is seeing increased interest from companies prioritizing employee experience, nearby amenities and access to fitness, hospitality and outdoor space.
