CHRIS 180 Welcomes Three New Board Members, Announces New Board Leadership

 CHRIS 180, a leading Atlanta-based nonprofit dedicated to healing children, strengthening families and building resilient communities, today announced the addition of three distinguished leaders to its Board of Directors. The new board members bring deep expertise across business strategy, technology and innovation, workforce development, governance and community leadership, further strengthening CHRIS 180’s ability to advance its mission to provide high quality trauma-informed care to children, youth, adults and families in Metro Atlanta.

Newly appointed board members include:

  • Justin Honaman, Global Head of Worldwide Retail, Restaurants & Consumer Goods Business Development at Amazon/AWS, leads efforts to drive digital transformation across the consumer landscape, helping businesses advance supply chain, ecommerce, artificial intelligence and customer experience capabilities. Recognized as a 2024 Innovator of the Year by Mass Market Retailer and a 2026 Top AI Thought Leader by Rethink Retail, he also serves on the Leadership Atlanta board and hosts The ContenderCast, a global consumer industries podcast.

  • Ryan Oliver is CEO and Co-Founder of TradeUp, a global fintech brokerage firm and mobile trading platform designed for retail and institutional investors to trade stocks, ETFs and options. Oliver brings more than 20 years of commercial leadership experience across technology, manufacturing and workforce development. He spent 11 years at Twitter/X building and scaling revenue marketing organizations across North America and seven years at GE in commercial leadership roles. A passionate advocate for Atlanta, he has been actively engaged in community service through advisory roles with Hands On Atlanta, the Woodruff Arts Center and Furkids.

  • Rondah Q. Thomas, Area Manager at Georgia Power, oversees external affairs, community engagement and economic development in South DeKalb and Rockdale counties, supporting  regional operations, customer service and sales coordination. A Georgia Tech graduate with more than 25 years of human resources and organizational leadership experience at Georgia Power, she has served on numerous community and nonprofit boards, including the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce and the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, and is a strong advocate for equity, inclusion and community advancement.

Together, these new board members will help guide CHRIS 180’s strategic direction and ensure strong governance as the organization continues to expand its impact across mental health, foster care and adoption, support for youth facing homelessness and supportive services.

In addition to these appointments, CHRIS 180 is pleased to announce its elected board officers:

  • Lori B. Chennault, The Franchise Steward, serves as Board Chair.

  • Deirdra Glover, Founder and CEO of Conserte Consulting, serves as Vice Chair.

  • Nicole S. Long, CFO at Agnes Scott College, serves as Treasurer.

  • Erika Montag, community volunteer, serves as Secretary.
