Atlanta ended 2025 as the 6th largest coworking market in the U.S., with 282 coworking spaces following a 4% quarter-over-quarter increase, according to CoworkingCafe’s newly released Q4 2025 U.S. Coworking Industry Report. Nationally, coworking continued to expand through the year’s end, reaching 8,854 locations.

Inventory expansion continues: Atlanta now hosts 282 coworking spaces, up 4% quarter-over-quarter and 18% year-over-year.

Above-average space sizes: Coworking locations in Atlanta average 19,408 sq. ft., ranking 18th nationally and exceeding the U.S. average of 18,003 sq. ft. Despite a slight 1% quarterly dip, the average size is still up 2% year-over-year.

Footprint growth outpaces most markets: Atlanta’s total coworking footprint reached 5.47 million sq. ft. in Q4, the 7th largest footprint nationwide, after expanding 3% Q-o-Q and 20% year-over-year.

Coworking penetration: Flexible office space now accounts for 2.6% of Atlanta’s total office inventory.

Top operators: Regus (29 locations) leads the market, followed by Switchyards (12), Club Office Memberships (11), HQ (10), with Industrious and Thrive Coworking tied at nine locations each.

Pricing remains competitive across membership types:

Virtual offices dropped to $129/month (–$23 Q-o-Q), well below the $159 national median.

Meeting rooms held steady at $50/hour, slightly above the $45 national median.

Monthly memberships remained affordable at $199/month, among the lowest rates across major U.S. markets, comparable to Chicago, Baltimore, and Cleveland, and well below the $220 national median

The total U.S. coworking footprint grew 4.7% Q-o-Q to 159.4 million sq. ft.

The number of coworking spaces increased 5% Q-o-Q to 8,854, adding 434 159.4 million sq. ft. net new locations in Q4.

The average space size edged down just 0.4% Q-o-Q to 18,003 sq. ft., reflecting a continued focus on larger, more versatile hubs.

Year over year, coworking footprint expanded 16.5% and inventory grew 15%, bringing coworking’s share of U.S. office space to 2.2% by the end of 2025.

Top operators: Regus remains the national leader, closing Q4 with nearly 1,200 locations across the U.S., followed by HQ (354), Industrious (176) and Spaces (170).
