GDOT Announces Contract to Resurface I-575

Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) awarded a $16.4 million contract to resurface I-575 from the Etowah River to State Route 372. The contract was one of 10 contracts GDOT awarded in January totaling more than $85 million.

The project will resurface about 11 miles of I-575 and is expected to be completed on December 31, 2026. GDOT awarded the contract to Causie Contracting, Inc., and work is expected to get started in the coming months.
