On the heels of its most profitable quarter in its history, Hyperion Bank has promoted Joel Higdon to Chief Retail Officer, expanding his leadership role as the bank continues a period of strong financial and operational momentum. Hyperion is located in Piedmont Center in Buckhead, the city’s financial district.

Higdon joined Hyperion in 2020 as Assistant Vice President (later, Vice President) and Branch Manager and brings more than 20 years of customer service experience, including a decade in banking. As Chief Retail Officer, he will oversee retail strategy, branch performance and client experience initiatives across the franchise.

In its recently reported Fourth Quarter 2025 results, Hyperion Bancshares posted record quarterly net income exceeding $1 million and reported full-year revenue growth of 13% and net income growth of 35% year over year. Higdon’s promotion reflects the bank’s focus on strengthening leadership capacity to support disciplined growth and an even greater customer experience.

A Georgia Native, Higdon is a graduate of Georgia State University, enjoys spending time outdoors and resides in Chamblee.
