KBH Industrial Repeats as No. 1 on Bulldog 100

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Friday, February 13th, 2026

For the second straight year, KBH Industrial, a company providing construction and procurement services to the power, industrial and oil/gas markets, topped the Bulldog 100 ranking of the fastest-growing businesses owned or operated by University of Georgia alumni.

Tarun Ganeriwal, who earned his MBA degree at UGA in 2009, is the company’s president, co-founder and CEO. He is responsible for guiding business development and networking relationships and supports sales, estimating, project management, staffing and partnerships for KBH Industrial, based in Smyrna. This is the company’s third time on the Bulldog 100 list.

The UGA Alumni Association honored Ganeriwal at the 17th annual Bulldog 100 Celebration on Feb. 7 in Sanford Stadium’s West End Zone. This year, 46 Bulldog 100 businesses are led by Terry College graduates, with four in the top 10.

This marks the 10th consecutive year that a business run by a Terry College alum ranked first in the annual list. Following KBH Industrial at No. 1, the top 10 featured:

2. Marlin Construction Partners Inc., Todd Smith (BSAE ’05)

3. SlicedHealth, Reed Liggin (BSPH ’94)

4. The King Firm LLC, J.L. King II (JD ’05) and Ben Hancock (BSA ’19, JD ’22)

5. I Buy All Shoes, Tyler Boerema (BBA ’24)

6. Rugged Road, Spencer Sutlive (BSFCS ’20)

7. Merit Partners, Robert Strange (AB ’93) and Jonathan Hull (BBA ’10)

8. Hess Media Inc., Jennifer Hess (AB ’94)

9. Ellsworth Cleaning & Facility Services, Michael Vestal (AB ’03)

10. Rise Property Group, Jason Chaliff (BBA ’10), Jared Siegel (BBA ’20) and Josh Yao (BBA ’20)

“This remarkable class of honorees represents all that is possible when talent, determination and the Bulldog spirit come together,” said Corey Dortch, president of the University of Georgia Alumni Association Board of Directors. “Their success strengthens our university, fuels economic growth and inspires the next generation of Bulldogs to dream even bigger.”

“Each year, this program reminds us how far a UGA education can take you and how powerfully our alumni continue to shape their industries and communities,” Dortch said.

The Bulldog 100 rankings are based solely on their three-year compounded annual growth rates. The Atlanta office of Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors — a Bulldog 100 partner since the program began in 2009 — verifies the information submitted by each company and determines the final rankings. In total, revenues for companies in the 2026 Bulldog 100 increased by 121% percent from 2022-2024, representing strong economic momentum and entrepreneurial leadership.

This year’s class includes businesses headquartered in a total of 10 states, with 85 of the businesses located in the state of Georgia. In total, 140 alumni representing industries from health care and engineering to construction and marketing were recognized.

As a part of the celebration, the ninth annual Michael J. Bryan Award winner was announced. This year’s recipients were Stephanie (BSEd ’94, MEd ’97, EdS ’99) and Terry alum Chad Powell (AB ’98). They are second-generation leaders of a 50-year-old Georgia-built business, Joe Powell & Associates (No. 36 on the Bulldog 100), in addition to Joe Powell Services Inc. (No. 45 on this year’s list). The award, named for the co-founder and managing partner of Vino Venue and Atlanta Wine School, who passed away in 2017 after a long battle with cancer, recognizes a returning Bulldog 100 honoree who demonstrates the entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to UGA that was Bryan’s hallmark.
