Sterling Seacrest Pritchard Announces Five New Partners

Sterling Seacrest Pritchard, one of the nation’s top 100 commercial insurance brokerages, is pleased to announce that five new partners were recently elected by the voting shareholders of the firm. The selected client advisors include Charlie Caswell, Jr., Will Godwin, Ray Greer, Walt Lee, and Greg Palmer.

Charles “Charlie” Caswell, Jr. is based in the company’s Atlanta office. A native of Atlanta, Charlie specializes in real estate and construction, working alongside his father who has over 40 years’ experience in this space. He is active in multiple nonprofit organizations and has served as President of Northside Athletes Foundation. In addition, he works closely with NYO, Soccer in the Streets, and additional sports driven nonprofits. Charlie graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. 

Will Godwin is based in the company’s Atlanta office and advises private equity groups, family offices, and corporations. Will’s focus is on property and casualty insurance and employee benefits due diligence, transactional risk placement, and post-close insurance implementation. With over 8 years of experience in the insurance industry, Will supports companies across diverse industries including construction, consumer, industrial, and real estate. He is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth and serves on its Emerging Leaders Advisory Committee. Will received a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management and Marketing from the University of Tennessee.

Ray Greer is based in the company’s Birmingham office. Ray has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry and focuses on property and casualty for various markets including distribution, manufacturing, and construction. He is an active member of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Alabama Chapter, Associated General Contractors (AGC) and the Southeast Produce Council. In addition, he is an active member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church where he serves in leadership. Ray received a Bachelor’s in Finance from Louisiana Tech University. 

Walt Lee is based in the company’s Atlanta office where he specializes in risk management and commercial insurance solutions. With over 20 years of experience, his client focus includes construction, manufacturing, and distribution. Walt is an active member of Roswell Presbyterian Church where he volunteers with their children’s ministry. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Marketing from Valdosta State University. 

Greg Palmer is based in the company’s Tampa office. With over 10 years of experience, Greg’s primary focus is construction with a concentration on supporting contractors with property and casualty insurance and surety bond programs. Greg received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from Presbyterian College. He is an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and serves on the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Gulf Coast Chapter Membership Committee. In addition, he volunteers with Copperhead Charities, an organization that has raised over $52 million for various Tampa Bay charities since its inception in 1977.
