Vacheron Constantin Opens New Boutique in Atlanta at Phipps Plaza
Monday, February 2nd, 2026
Vacheron Constantin, the world's oldest watch manufacturer in continuous production since 1755, announces the opening of its Atlanta boutique inside Phipps Plaza. This boutique is the latest highlight in the Maison's long-lasting relationship with America since 1832 and blends the refined aesthetic of the Maison with local design codes respecting the musical soul of Atlanta.
"We're pleased to announce the opening of our new Atlanta boutique in Phipps Plaza, a premier luxury shopping destination. Atlanta has long had a discerning pool of watch connoisseurs and, with this opening, we are thrilled to be able to fully share the heritage, craftsmanship and dedication to technical excellence that Vacheron Constantin is known for. We invite all enthusiasts to discover the world of Vacheron Constantin,” says Alexander Schmiedt, Brand President of Vacheron Constantin Americas.
Exclusive Hospitality and Client Experience
The boutique has been thoughtfully designed to create a space that reflects the Maison's unwavering quest for excellence and exquisite craftsmanship while embracing the richness of the local culture. The new boutique welcomes clients into a space that exudes sophistication with a pared back, yet cozy, design that references Atlanta's deep connection to music.
This intimate atmosphere invites visitors to immerse themselves in the world of Vacheron Constantin. A VIP lounge, inspired by recording studios, features acoustic wall coverings and raw yet inviting materials. Decorative accents from Abbey Road Studios can be seen throughout the boutique, echoing the musicality of the city as well as the Maison's long standing artistic partnership with the legendary recording studio. Even the custom-designed carpet showcases a design which is a deconstructed play on sound waves.
Watchmaking excellence and bespoke services
Connoisseurs of high watchmaking will be treated to the discovery of the full catalog of Vacheron Constantin's quest for innovation and artistry including: the Patrimony, Traditionnelle, Overseas, Fiftysix, Égérie, Métiers d'Art and Historiques collections. Visitors are invited to discover a wide compliment of horological excellence, from simple to high complications as well as examine design icons such as the American 1921 and the 222.
The boutique also features a customization area where clients can personalize their watches with an array of strap colors, materials, and stitching options. This meticulous attention to detail ensures each timepiece reflects the wearer's unique style.
Honoring a 190-year story with America
In 1831, Jacques Barthélémi Vacheron wrote a letter stating his intent to expand his business to the United States, and in 1832 the company established its first agent in New York. By the twentieth century, Vacheron Constantin timepieces could be found on the wrists of Hollywood icons including actors Marlon Brando and Elizabeth Taylor, as well as eminent Americans such as members of the Rockefeller family, Henry and William James, and automobile manufacturer James Ward Packard, to name a few. Of the many innovative and historically important Vacheron Constantin timepieces, special references inspired by American clients include one of the first large wristwatches for aviators, a series of pocket watches for the U.S. Corps of Engineers during WWI, and just a few years later, the cushion-shaped “American 1921”, a classic yet daring tilted dial design created for the American market.
