Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Building and Land Technology (BLT), the landlord of the King & Queen Buildings and the surrounding ecosystem, has selected the firm to provide Asset Services including property management and engineering services for Concourse 5 and 6, iconic Atlanta buildings in the Central Perimeter submarket.

Cushman & Wakefield’s property team will tailor property management, tenant experience, and engagement services for the King & Queen buildings, which are 33 and 32 stories, respectively, and total to just over 1.4 million square feet. Additionally, the local team can leverage the resources, relationships and industry knowledge of the firm’s 8,800-person Asset Services team and 1.1 billion square feet of managed assets in the Americas on behalf of corporate, institutional and private clients and 167,000 multifamily units under management across the Americas to benefit clients both financially and operationally.

“There have been several recent investments in the Concourse ecosystem emphasizing the needs of today’s office occupiers,” said Carl Kuehner, Chairman of BLT. “Life Time Fitness redeveloped the former Concourse Athletic Club; the adjacent Westin completed a multi-million-dollar renovation to their lobby, guest rooms and restaurant; and the King & Queen made significant investments to building infrastructure including adding a fitness center free of charge for all tenants. As we continue to curate the ideal tenant experience, we are excited to partner with Cushman & Wakefield. Their exceptional local management team and global platform will allow these iconic assets to continue to provide the Class A experience while also incorporating new tech solutions to fix tomorrow’s problems. Cushman & Wakefield is the perfect property management partner to carry forward our ongoing strategies while also recruiting and retaining top-quality tenants.”

Added Tina Renee McCall, Cushman & Wakefield Senior Managing Director, Asset Services, “The Asset Services professionals we recruit seek to work on Atlanta’s most prominent properties, and the King & Queen Buildings are in a class all their own. To King & Queen, we bring an ownership mindset, a team that thinks like an owner and puts tenants first with modern, technology-forward solutions. What’s more, we pride ourselves on our hospitality focus and creating a highly curated, white-glove presence and atmosphere for each property we manage.”

Located at Peachtree Dunwoody Road and Hammond Drive, the King & Queen buildings overlook Interstate 285 and Georgia 400. BLT recently completed a transformational multi-million-dollar renovation of the landmark office towers to create state-of-the-art workplaces catering to the needs of both the modern employer and employee. Those renovations complement a market-leading ecosystem featuring a newly renovated Westin Hotel, an 80,000-square-foot Life Time Fitness, KinderCare Childcare, five on-site restaurants on the Concourse Corporate Center campus, plentiful outdoor spaces and access to Path 400.
