Cuvée Cares proudly announces its 2026 beneficiaries and upcoming events, continuing its commitment to a lasting impact on the community. After a successful 2025, raising more than $250,000 to benefit 50 families’ participation in Shepherd Center’s Adventure Skills Workshop and to outfit the BlazeSports youth basketball team with new adaptive sports wheelchairs, Cuvée Cares announces its continued support for Shepherd Center and BlazeSports America, as well as support for a new organization, D1Strong – The Journey.
“We are thrilled with the success and impact Cuvée Cares made in 2025,” says Angelle Hamilton, Chef de Cuvée Cares. “As an Atlanta-based organization, it’s especially meaningful to continue supporting institutions like Shepherd Center and BlazeSports that serve our local community so profoundly. We look forward to expanding our impact in 2026 by championing health-related causes that make a real difference close to home.”
Shepherd Center provides world-class clinical care, research, and family support for people experiencing the most complex conditions, including spinal cord and brain injuries, multi-trauma, traumatic amputations, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and pain. For 50 years, Shepherd Center has helped patients and families rebuild their lives with heart, humor, and most of all, hope. BlazeSports America, the legacy of the 1996 Atlanta Paralympics, partners with children, adults, and veterans with disabilities to promote an active life through recreational activities, adaptive sports, and leadership programs. D1Strong – The Journey is the fundraising initiative of Rise Neurorehab Institute, created to help people who have experienced neurological injuries reclaim their lives with dignity and support.
“This year, Cuvée Cares resources will support sports and recreation programming for Shepherd Center, BlazeSports, and D1Strong – The Journey,” says Hamilton. “After seeing the direct impact our past support has had on Blaze and Shepherd Center, we’re proud to continue and to expand support for programs that offer opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities to stay active, engaged, and empowered. We look forward to a strong weekend of giving and fun in March.”
