GMS Inc. (“GMS”) announced today that it has acquired Above Interior Distributors, Inc. (“Above Interior”), a leading supplier of specialty acoustical products, ceilings, and related building materials with one location serving the Miami-Dade metro area and South Florida.

John C. Turner, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of GMS, said, “We are excited to welcome Above Interior and its team of highly knowledgeable professionals to GMS. Above Interior will operate under its existing branding as part of GMS Southeast and will further support GMS’s presence throughout South Florida and surrounding areas. Founder and President Jesus Valido will continue to lead the business, ensuring continuity and consistency for its customers, suppliers, and employees.
