Secretary Raffensperger Using Music to Teach Georgia Students Financial Literacy

Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and Funding the Future released the Spring 2026 tour dates. Partnering with singer-songwriter Gooding, the tour will visit 11 Georgia schools, turning high school auditoriums into energetic concerts where students gain key financial literacy skills.

The tour will make the following stops:

  • Monday, March 9 at 9 AM – Cook Middle School, Sparks
  • Tuesday, March 10 at 10 AM - Redan High School, Stone Mountain
  • Wednesday, March 11 at 10 AM - Statesboro High School, Statesboro
  • Thursday, March 12 at 1:30 PM - Colquitt County High School, Norman Park
  • Friday, March 13 at 9:30 AM - Mount Zion High School, Jonesboro
  • Friday, March 13 at 2:45 PM - Lindley Middle School, Mableton
  • Monday, March 23 at 10 AM - Atkinson County Middle School, Pearson
  • Tuesday, March 24 at 10 AM - Lowndes High School, Valdosta
  • Wednesday, March 25 at 10:15 AM - Newnan High School, Newnan
  • Thursday, March 26 at 8 AM - Lamar County Middle School, Barnesville
  • Friday, March 27 at 10 AM - Cambridge High School, Milton

Gooding will blend original music, captivating visuals, and personal stories of resilience to create an engaging learning environment. This event not only entertains but also equips students with practical financial skills, helping them make informed decisions about saving, investing, and managing money as they grow.
