South Downtown Atlanta set to Become Open Container District

 What would help bring people to South Downtown? Some say free-range imbibing.

Atlanta City Council approved legislation on March 16 to designate several acres in the historic neighborhood as the city's first open container district. Starting April 15, adults who are 21 years and older will be able to purchase alcoholic beverages and drink them on the sidewalk, streets and other public spaces in the area.
