Just off Cascade Road in the Westview neighborhood of Atlanta, Matt Stauffer has found a community to call home. With cracked sidewalks and safety concerns, Stauffer said an inviting community needed some investment to save lives.

"There are a lot of people who have lived here for a really long time," Stauffer said. "You have homes that have been here for a long time, people who have lived and cared for the neighborhood for a long time, so there’s a lot more historic understanding. There are people who aren’t always driving, considering there are pedestrians and kids. Because of the state of some of the infrastructure, you end up in the street because sometimes that’s the only way to get where you’re getting and you’re competing for space with all that traffic.”
