Chair & CEO JaNice Van Ness to Deliver 2026 State of Rockdale County Address

The Council for Quality Growth, in partnership with Rockdale County Government, will host the 2026 State of Rockdale County Address on April 28, 2026 at 8:00 AM at the Rockdale County Auditorium in Conyers. The breakfast program, presented byJericho Design Group and Volkert, will feature Rockdale County’s Chair & CEO JaNice Van Ness’ 2nd annual address. Over 200 Council and Chamber members, elected officials, businesses, residents, county staff, and partners of Rockdale County are expected to attend to hear the Chair & CEO’s address.
The Council’s State of Rockdale County annually convenes the county’s business community with its local government bodies, as well as with other local leaders from across the region. Chair & CEO Van Ness will address her community to present achievements and projects from the last year, as well as an outlook for what’s ahead in 2026.
The Council for Quality Growth works with Rockdale County and its local municipalities year-round to advocate for our members doing business in those areas. “Rockdale County continues to position itself for long-term growth through investment and strong community leadership,” said Michael Paris, President & CEO of the Council for Quality Growth. “We value our partnership with the County and are proud to bring together leaders each year to share updates and celebrate the progress happening across Rockdale.”
The State of Rockdale will also feature remarks from Mike Valdes, Vice President of Construction, Engineering, & Inspections with Volkert and a video presentation from Jericho Design Group, as presenting sponsors. Danny Johnson, Managing Director of the Natural Resources Department at the Atlanta Regional Commission, will provide an update on the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District’s regional efforts. Attendees will also hear from Steve Bromell, Board Member of the Conyers Rockdale Economic Development Council, and Michael Paris, President & CEO of the Council for Quality Growth.
