I’M SO ATL™ Launches Public Art Campaign to Turn Atlanta Into a Living Art Gallery Ahead of Summer 2026
Friday, April 10th, 2026
In summer 2026, the I’M SO ATL Public Art Campaign will turn
Atlanta into a living art gallery. More than a festival, I’M SO ATL is a citywide public art campaign designed to showcase Atlanta’s identity, creativity, and cultural energy through installations, storytelling, artist participation, and public activation across the city.
Beginning in May 2026, the campaign will place large-scale art installations and visual activations across Atlanta, including Atlanta City Parks, along with other community spaces and partner locations. These public-facing works are designed to bring art directly into everyday spaces, create free points of access for residents and visitors, and make Atlanta’s creative presence visible across multiple neighborhoods.
Alongside the installations, I’M SO ATL will feature a social media storytelling campaign highlighting the people, places, and cultural voices that define the city, as well as an open call inviting artists of all ages and disciplines to participate. Together, these efforts will build toward the Artlanta Festival of Culture in Piedmont Park on August 7–9, 2026, which will serve as the flagship gathering point within the larger campaign.
Timed to Atlanta’s rising international visibility in 2026, I’M SO ATL & ARTlanta connects art, culture, community, and commerce while creating a platform for local artists, businesses, and cultural voices to be seen on a larger stage.
