Pandas Are Coming Back to Zoo Atlanta

The Atlanta Zoo and the China Wildlife Conservation Association have reached International Cooperative Research Agreement on Giant Panda Conservation, bringing Giant Pandas back to the Atlanta Zoo.
This marks the second time The Atlanta Zoo will be given Panda’s. The original agreement ended in 2024 after 25 years of productive partnership with pair Lun Lun and Yang Yang, who now reside back in China, along with their seven Atlanta produced offspring.
The new pair will be male Ping Ping and female Fu Shuang.
