Peachtree Corners’ Assistant Public Works Director Earns National Engineering Honor

The City of Peachtree Corners is proud to announce that James Nguyen, Assistant Public Works Director, has been named the 2026 Young Member of the Year by the American Society of Highway Engineers.
The prestigious national award recognizes an ASHE member who has made significant contributions to the organization's growth and development over the past year. The Georgia Section nominated Nguyen for his leadership, dedication, and impact within the engineering profession.
As Assistant Public Works Director, Nguyen plays a key role in supporting infrastructure planning and operations that serve the Peachtree Corners community. His recognition reflects not only his professional achievements but also the City’s ongoing commitment to excellence in public service and engineering innovation.
Nguyen will be formally honored at the 2026 ASHE National Conference, where he will receive the award during the organization’s Annual Banquet in Rockville, Maryland.
City officials congratulate Nguyen on this outstanding accomplishment and celebrate the positive impact he continues to make both locally and within the engineering community nationwide.
