Thru June, Target Customers in Atlanta Can "Save Big & Give Back" to Local Causes

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

As Atlanta families look for ways to stretch their summer budgets and plan ahead for the back-to-school season, Target is bringing back its Target Circle Deal Days from June 23 - 26.

Circle Deal Days serve as a major moment for local community funding through the Target Circle Community Giving program. Every time an Atlanta neighbor shops, they earn a vote to help direct Target’s corporate giving to the non-profits operating right here in our backyard.

Why this matters for Atlanta:
  • Empowering Local Non-Profits: Local shoppers can direct funding into vital education-focused organizations ahead of the back-to-school season. Create Your Dreams is a featured recipient this year. This organization is a long-term, youth development program dedicated to nurturing the talents and dreams of students living in underserved areas of Atlanta.
  • Proven Local Impact: Our community consistently rallies behind local education causes. In the past, organizations like 21st Century Leaders received over $1500 and Girls on the Run Georgia received over $4000 thanks to these community-driven votes.

For Target Circle members, the event includes up to 45% off select apparel, home, and school supplies.

“The Target Circle campaign helped provide program access for a team of 15 girls in our community who are furthest from opportunity. Through this support, these participants gained access to confidence-building, social-emotional learning, and physical activity programs that empower them to thrive,” said Aminata Solammon, Development Director of Girls on the Run Georgia.
