Delta Community Credit Union is pleased to announce it will relocate its Buford branch, currently inside a Kroger store, to a larger, more accessible storefront. The future branch is scheduled to open in late 2027 and will be in a retail center currently being developed at 2759 Hamilton Mill Road in Buford, Georgia.
The new branch will occupy 4,500 square feet, which is nine times larger than the current space. It will feature an eight-person team, ample parking for members and two ATMs with Live Teller functionality.
“Moving and expanding our Buford branch reflects our commitment to families and businesses in Gwinnett County,” said Hank Halter, Delta Community’s CEO. “We have 8,000 members living within a 7-mile radius of our new location, and we look forward to providing them with greater value and convenience while welcoming future members to be part of Georgia’s largest credit union.”
The current Buford branch, located at 3300 Hamilton Mill Road, opened in 2009 and was Delta Community’s first location in Gwinnett County. The credit union also has branches in Duluth and Snellville to serve more than 40,000 members living and working in the county.
The new location is approximately a mile from its current location and offers easy access to Interstate 85, benefiting members in Braselton, Mulberry and surrounding communities. The existing Buford branch will continue to serve members until the new location opens with a seamless transition and no planned disruption to normal hours and availability.
