Lenbrook Names Dave Fitzgerald and Lynn Sokler to Board of Directors

Lenbrook, Atlanta’s premier intown community purpose-built for engaged senior living for more than 40 years, has named Dave Fitzgerald and Lynn Sokler to its Board of Directors. They both have extensive communications strategy, leadership and nonprofit experience.
 
Fitzgerald founded award-winning Atlanta-based advertising agency Fitzgerald & Co. and served as CEO for more than 40 years. He sold that $100 million business – now known as Fitzco – in 2025, and co-founded Sage Communications Advisors, a communications advisory firm that helps Atlanta nonprofit organizations find their voice and tell their story.
 
Sokler has given strategic communications guidance and developed effective messaging for complex initiatives, crisis management and risk communication for four decades. She worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for almost 20 years, directing large public education campaigns addressing urgent health threats.
 
“Dave and Lynn bring many years of communications strategy, guidance and execution to our board,” said Chris Keysor, Lenbrook Chief Executive Officer. “They each have earned numerous industry awards and recognition for their work, and we are honored to have them join the Lenbrook Board of Directors.”
 
Fitzgerald has served on and led many boards of directors for communications, education, hospitals and nonprofit organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dayton. Sokler has earned several prestigious honors, including a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary’s Pick for Innovation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from the University of Florida.
