Moore Colson’s Patrick Hutchinson Honored Among the M&A Advisor’s 2026 Emerging Leaders

Moore Colson, an award-winning accounting and advisory firm in Atlanta, recently announced Transaction Advisory Senior Manager Patrick Hutchinson, CPA, as a 2026 The M&A Advisor Emerging Leader.
 
The recipients of the Emerging Leaders Awards are young professionals under the age of 40 who have made groundbreaking contributions to the fields of M&A, corporate finance and restructuring, demonstrating unwavering dedication to their profession and charitable causes. A panel of independent judges selected the winners from a large pool of impressive candidates based on their business and community service accomplishments.
 
Hutchinson is a senior manager in Moore Colson’s Transaction Advisory Practice Area. He has 12 years of experience in financial accounting and mergers and acquisitions advisory. At Moore Colson, Hutchinson provides private equity groups, strategic buyers and business owners with guidance on buy- and sell-side M&A transactions, including quality of earnings analysis, evaluation of working capital trends, purchase agreement review and financial modeling. He has worked on more than 120 transactions across the construction, distribution, manufacturing, professional services, retail and technology industries, with deal sizes ranging from $1 million to $1 billion. Before joining Moore Colson in 2018, Hutchinson worked in assurance at a regional public accounting firm. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Elon University. Hutchinson is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Georgia and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association for Corporate Growth.
