Trees Atlanta Elects Four New Directors to their Board

Trees Atlanta Board of Directors elected four new board members who recently began their 3-year terms in 2025 and 2026. Kelly Brock joined the board in April 2026, Amanda Morris in February 2026, and Brigitte Broyard McBee and Kevin Smith in November 2025. These individuals are part of an active Board of Directors who represent leading businesses and organizations that serve metro Atlanta, including UPS, The Home Depot, Centennial Yards, and The Coca-Cola Company.

Trees Atlanta extends sincere appreciation to our board members for their dedicated service to the organization. We thank these individuals who completed their board service this year: BJ Green, Taylor Fairman, and John Wilson.

Trees Atlanta's mission is to protect and improve Atlanta's urban forest. Trees Atlanta planted its first tree on Carnegie Way in Downtown Atlanta in 1985, and has planted over 190,000 trees across metro Atlanta to date. Each year, in addition to planting trees, staff and volunteers restore and improve hundreds of acres of forested areas, educate students and adults to be active stewards of our city's trees, and lead workforce development programs to invest in future generations of community stewards.

Newly Elected Board Members

Kelly Brock is a global marketing executive at UPS, where she leads marketing strategy for the Americas region and Supply Chain Solutions. With extensive experience driving growth and customer engagement across international markets, Kelly brings a strong perspective on connecting businesses and communities. She also serves on the board of OnBoard, supporting the advancement of women in leadership. Kelly holds an MBA from Georgia State University and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech.

Brigitte Broyard McBee is Vice President of Business and Workforce Opportunity for CIM Group and has managed the Equal Business Opportunity Program for Centennial Yards in Downtown Atlanta for the last six years. Brigitte worked with the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games and spent most of her career with IBM Corporation in several roles. A 4th generation Atlanta native and graduate of Howard University, She is a 100 Women of Influence for the Atlanta Business League 2025, was awarded the Private Sector Award from the National Association for Minority Contractors, and received the Level Award from the WICERS, Women in Construction, Engineering and Related Services. Highly community-oriented, Brigitte served as a mentor with the Atlanta Hawks “She Leads” Program, on governance councils for the Los Angeles Unified School District and Fulton County School Districts, as the Co-founder of the CIM Women’s Alliance and Ambassador Programs, and as a supporting parent with Parent to Parent of GA.

Amanda Morris is the Director of Media at The Home Depot, where she leads Digital Activation, Media Partnerships, and Sports Marketing. In this role, Amanda sets the company's go-to-market strategy across media channels, establishing enterprise best practices that drive performance, scale, and consistency across an increasingly complex media landscape. She oversees sponsorship and partnership strategy, ensuring investments are aligned to The Home Depot’s broader business and brand objectives. Amanda’s work also focuses on delivering Sports Marketing sponsorships and live, experiential activations that drive measurable engagement, strengthen brand affinity, and build lasting connections with Home Depot associates, Pros, and DIY customers.

Kevin Smith is a senior finance executive with more than 20 years of experience leading organizational performance for a global organization, large teams, and operational transformation. Currently serving as Vice President of Finance at The Coca-Cola Company, Kevin oversees the financial planning and analysis for Coca-Cola's North America Operating Unit. Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Kevin built a foundation in financial governance, strategic planning, and risk management through roles in working with Deloitte and KPMG. Passionate about building inclusive workplaces and strong communities, Kevin currently serves as Lead for Coca-Cola's This- Ability Inclusion Network, whose focus is advancing opportunities for individuals with disabilities and offering support resources for caregivers. He is also an active member of the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Waves-Pepperdine University Alumni association. Kevin earned a Master's degree in finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Pepperdine University.
