Together, these events create opportunities for individuals and organizations throughout the multifamily industry to make a meaningful impact while strengthening connections within the community.

“The Can Can Ball is proof of what can happen when an industry rallies around a cause bigger than itself,” said Jeremy Mesi, 2026 Can Can Ball Co-Chair. “Each year, we come together not only to celebrate our community, but to create real change for our neighbors facing food insecurity. From Poker Night and Sip-N-Stroll to the Ball itself, every dollar raised helps provide meals, hope, and support to families throughout the region.”

The Atlanta Community Food Bank serves as the distribution hub for a network of 700 hundred community-based partners working across 29 counties to fight hunger and improve food access throughout the region.

“For nearly 40 years, the multifamily industry has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to helping families facing food insecurity,” said Kyle Waide, President & CEO of the Atlanta Community Food Bank. “The Can Can Ball continues to be one of our most impactful community partnerships, generating critical resources needed to provide nutritious food that supports the health and stability of our neighbors. We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of the Atlanta Apartment Association and everyone who participates in this remarkable effort.”

Drawing more than 700 attendees annually, the Can Can Ball combines elegance, entertainment, and philanthropy into an unforgettable evening, while serving as a powerful reminder that collective action can transform lives.
