Douglas County Chamber Announces 2026 Small Business Award Recipients

The Douglas County Chamber, in partnership with the Douglas County Sentinel and Elevate Douglas Economic Partnership, is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2026 Douglas County Small Business Awards. This recognition celebrates outstanding businesses and individuals contributing to economic growth and sustainability through innovation, community service, drive, and success. The award recipients were recognized at the Douglas County Small Business Awards on August 25.
 
The Douglas County Small Business Awards include three award categories: Small Business to Watch, Small Business of the Year Finalists, and Legacy in Business. The Small Business to Watch Award celebrates businesses within their first three years of operation that demonstrate a unique business concept and creative approaches to marketing, branding, and client outreach. Small Business of the Year Finalists are recognized for demonstrated growth, innovation, and commitment to serving the Douglas County community for more than three years. The Legacy in Business Award honors an entrepreneur who has achieved sustained success and made a lasting impact over time.
 
This year featured an incredible nomination pool of more than 50 businesses. Each award recipient participated in a rigorous application and selection process detailing their company’s growth, innovation, and community involvement. An independent panel of judges composed of business professionals and community leaders reviewed the applications, discussed their findings, and made the final selections.
