Meals on Wheels Atlanta Reimagines Power Luncheon with Expanded Format and Bold New Vision

Meals On Wheels Atlanta (MOWA) is reimagining one of its signature fundraising events with a refreshed vision for the 9th Annual Power Luncheon, taking place Thursday, Sept. 17, at 1705WEST (1705 Commerce Drive NW). Bringing together Atlanta's creative, business, civic, and philanthropic communities, this year's luncheon will feature thought-provoking conversations centered on creativity, leadership, and living with purpose, while raising critical funds to support local seniors.
Centered around the theme "Curating a Life of Style & Impact," the luncheon explores how fashion, beauty, design, and entertainment shape not only the lives we create for ourselves, but the impact we leave on others. Through candid conversations with leaders who have built careers rooted in creativity, confidence and purpose, attendees will gain fresh perspectives on defining success, leading with intention, and using influence to inspire meaningful change.

We're excited to welcome guests for an afternoon that sparks conversation while helping ensure Atlanta's seniors continue receiving the meals, connection and care they deserve."
The event begins at 11:30 a.m. and will feature a dynamic conversation moderated by Cara Kneer, TV host and news reporter, with an inspiring lineup of speakers including Emily Loftiss, creative director, stylist and co-founder of ICONIC Brand; Eva Marcille, actress, model, entrepreneur, and TV and radio host; John Plaster, principal architect at Plaster Architecture; and Helen Zhang, co-founder of ALCÔVE AESTHETICS.
Guests will enjoy an afternoon of engaging conversations, networking, and a thoughtfully curated luncheon as influential creatives and industry leaders share personal stories about building careers with intention, embracing authenticity, and using their platforms to make a lasting impact. The program is designed to inspire attendees while raising critical funds to support Meals On Wheels Atlanta's mission of addressing senior hunger and isolation.
All proceeds from the event support Meals On Wheels Atlanta's mission to provide nutritious meals, wellness checks and meaningful social connection for older adults throughout metro Atlanta, helping seniors age with dignity and independence.
