Atlanta City Council Looks at 'Parking Bill of Rights'

The Atlanta City Council is hoping to make the process of parking at garages and lots across the city more transparent.
On Tuesday, the Council could vote on an ordinance dubbed the "Parking Bill of Rights," which aims to make parking at lots and garages across the city more transparent.
The ordinance would require operators to clearly disclose rates and payment options before customers park, according to the Council communications department.
It would also require facilities to post signs letting drivers know if they're using an automated license plate reader. Those facilities would also have to let people know what data is being collected.
